• The QNIS is committed to maintaining contact with retired Queen’s Nurses.
  
• The QNIS co-ordinates a voluntary visiting scheme to provide support, in particular to the Queen’s Nurses who are over 80.
  
• The Visitors provide contact with Queen’s Nurses and can offer information on grants, holidays and social events available through the QNIS.

GRANTS
Grants, offered via the Visitors, are available for the following:

• Telephone rental
  
• Gardening
  
• Replacement of equipment
  
• Removal costs
  
• Special furniture
  
• Flooding/fire repairs
  
• Christmas gift (QNs over 80 and with 21 years service in the community)
  

QNIS ANNUAL GATHERING LUNCH
The QNIS Annual Gathering Lunch is held in June at Crieff Hydro and is free for all Queen’s Nurses. For application form phone 0131 229 2333.

Holidays are arranged annually at Crieff Hydro.

QNIS NEWSLETTER
An annual Newsletter is sent in December to Queen’s Nurses on the mailing list.
