Our 2017 ‘Catalysts for Change’ projects submitted their final reports earlier this year. In addition to their written report, one of our projects created a magnificent animation.
The project – “Working together to promote resilience and enhance informal carers’ well-being in Tweeddale” developed the animation to support the carers of people with dementia.
The animation shows how to access services from the very beginning, before a diagnosis has been made, and who can provide additional support throughout. It was voiced over by Jacqui Pickard and Kim Linge who have both experienced caring for a loved one with dementia and who were central to the project.
It is only four minutes long and worth every second. The video can be watched below:
Please share with anyone who may be interested; from informal carers to dementia specialists.
