The QNIS seeks to inspire the next generation of community nurses. By offering prizes to every university in Scotland we hope to encourage the rising stars of community nursing.
Each university in Scotland that offers a community nursing qualification is asked to nominate outstanding students who will “promote excellence in community nursing”. A winner is awarded in both the undergraduate and postgraduate categories, with the prize winners receiving a certificate and a small cash prize to celebrate their achievement.
Prize winners are also given the opportunity to attend our annual conference as a guest of QNIS, where they can engage further with community nurse leaders and other organisations. All awardees are offered the opportunity to write a blog on their experience of winning the prize and their hopes for the future.
