One of our most valued activities is the awarding of Community Nursing Awards for Long Service.
Any NMC registered nurse who has reached the outstanding milestone of 21 years service in the community is eligible for an award, as long as they are still working, or have retired in the last five years.
We like to present awards face to face, where possible, so as part of the proceedings at our AGM on November 12th, we will be awarding Long Service Awards to some recently nominated community nurses. The AGM takes place in the City Chambers, Edinburgh from 1.30pm until 3.30pm, and if you are eligible, and would like to receive an award there, please do get in touch via our contact forms.
The awards are for nurses who have worked in any nursing role in the community including, but not limited to, midwifery, health visiting, practice nursing, criminal justice nursing, occupational health nursing, community mental health nursing, district nursing, community psychiatric nursing, community hospital nursing.
Further information about the awards and detailed eligibility criteria are available here.
We look forward to seeing you on the 12th November.
