NHS Fife, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS) celebrated 32 nurses at a recent Long Service Awards event who have given 1437 combined years service.
Lynn Barker, Director of Nursing, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership paid tribute to them and said: “We wanted to celebrate our community nurses in Fife who have given decades of dedicated service.
“Year after year community nurses support people across the Kingdom – in their homes, clinics and community hospitals and it was great to be able to recognise that dedicated service.
“I’d like to add my personal thanks to them for the work they have done and continue to do to help people in our communities.”
Over at Glasgow City Chambers, QNIS Trustee David Williams joined representatives from Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership to present long service certificates and badges to 166 community nurses and midwives. In total they had given 3620 years service!
