As part of Nursing Now, QNIS will showcase the wide range of roles involved in community nursing, focusing on those working today, those who have retired and student nurses looking to pursue a career nursing in the community. This is our second feature, following on from the launch.
Nursing Now is an international campaign seeking to empower nurses to take their place at the heart of tackling 21st century health challenges and runs until the end of 2020 – the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
This time we are looking at the relationship between nurse and patient. Last year, we showcased several of our retired Queen’s Nurses and heard some wonderful stories. These ‘Voices of Experience’ are available to view, in full, here. We have selected a few clips from several, describing the relationships between nurse and patient. How do things compare to today?
