What difference do you hope to have on the health and wellbeing of those you care for?
I am committed to ensuring individuals have equitable access to health care support in relation to their drug dependence and all health and social care needs without the fear of judgment or stigma, particularly within their own communities.
By bringing a true passion, knowledge base and level of expert practice in my chosen field of community nursing to the leadership team, I am able to use this expertise to both advocate for patients and the service, to gain equitable access to the care they need, whilst empowering a large team of nurses.
My passion for ensuring everyone is treated fairly and provided the same opportunities in recovery, supports educating and enhancing others knowledge regarding the complex needs some people may have and stigma towards people who use substances.
In improving addiction services, we must put people at the heart of the change
