What are the skills/expertise you need to work as a Family Nurse Partnership Supervisor?
As a Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Supervisor, I lead a team of 6 Family Nurses from a variety of backgrounds in the delivery of the FNP programme, to mum’s aged 19 and under having their first baby. I have background in adult nursing and midwifery, having a degree in both disciplines and I am educated to masters’ level with both an MSc in Health Studies and Post Graduate certificate Child Protection. I feel strongly that I provide compassionate leadership and containment to my team to enable team them to be the Family Nurses they can be. I have a passion for developing leadership potential in others and also gain great satisfaction in witnessing the positive and enduring relationships our clients have with their Family Nurses.
