Scotland’s Gardens Autumn Lecture

10th September 2015

News Flash For Keen Gardeners and Garden Lovers

Scotland’s Gardens Autumn Lecture
Thursday 1st October 2015

Scotland’s Gardens and the Royal Horticultural Society are co-hosting a fantastic day of talks at the Albert Halls in Stirling. The event is a fundraiser in aid of Scotland’s Gardens’ beneficiary charities (including ourselves; The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland along with Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, Perennial and The Gardens Fund of the National Trust for Scotland) and the Royal Horticultural Society’s Community Outreach work in Scotland, supporting horticultural training and education.

The day will include a series of talks by some of the UK’s most celebrated gardeners and broadcasters; Noel Kingsbury will deliver a talk outlining New Ways with Perennials, Christine Walkden will draw on some of the experiences of her gardening career in a talk entitled the Life & Times of a Gardener and Matt Biggs will inspire the audience with design ideas from around the country, with Ideas from the Back Gardens of Britain.

The event will run from 10.30am — 4pm. Tickets are £45 per person including sandwich lunch and wine. Tickets are available from Scotland’s Gardens website at this link. Tickets are also available by post with a cheque made payable to Scotland’s Gardens at 23 Castle Street, Edinburgh EH2 3DN. Please feel free to come on your own if you wish as everyone will be introduced and made very welcome, alternatively we are also very happy to accept group bookings. Please do not hesitate to call Scotland’s Gardens office on 0131 226 3714 with any queries.
