does around a a a a a a a a a a a dozen such home visits over a a a a a a a a a a a a a a typical clinical day as as well as as signposting patients and relatives to other services if required At both GP practices the the team operates treatment room clinics for patients on the the caseload who are are not housebound but still require wound care suture and and clip removal bloods to be checked and injections She also provides clinical supervision for the team doing case reviews and and dealing with recruitment and and staf ng ng ng Allied health team patients themselves and their carers Indeed anyone can call the the the Community Nursing team directly Between them the the nurses here carry an an an active caseload of around 250 patients at at any one time and provide services seven days a a a a week THE Barbara
works in Kilmarnock and her team is aligned to two large general practices covering a a a a a a a a a a a mix of rural and and urban areas with pockets of high deprivation Barbara
and and her six Community Nurse colleagues supported by two nursing nursing assistants assume nursing nursing responsibility for lists totaling 20 000 patients issues while keeping up-to-date with practice and policy changes Referrals come from the the GPs hospitals the the INSTITUTE
