QNIS celebrates Long Service awards

QNIS has presented more than 100 Long Service awards this year, at a number of events that have taken place across Scotland.

Several individuals hold certificates featuring a large letter ‘Q’. The group is arranged in two rows, smiling and posing for a photo. The setting appears to be a formal or professional event.

In total, certificates were awarded to 112 community nurses and midwives who have given 21 years or more of service to the community. These events recognise the invaluable contributions of healthcare professionals who have devoted their careers to the wellbeing of their communities.

Long Service awards hold great importance for QNIS. Excellent care is delivered by excellent nurses and midwives, in the everyday extraordinary things that they do to support people in their homes and communities. These events are one of those rare opportunities when we stop to acknowledge the huge contribution made by each member of the team each and every day.
