Many academic staff are actively involved in practice, and research as well as teaching.  They have a responsibility to prepare the curriculum sufficiently to allow students the full experience of all professional/practice/management and research roles.

Nurse Manager

Nurse managers typically manage a nursing, or an integrated health and social care service; provides professional leadership by coaching and supervising staff; advocating for patients, staff and the service; and influencing others at a senior level.
