QNIS staff came together last week for an in-person team day at the scenic Starbank Park in Edinburgh. This hidden gem boasts magnificent views over the Firth of Forth to the north making it an ideal green and blue space to gather, even on a rainy day like last Wednesday! The purpose of the gathering was to engage in constructive discussions surrounding the institute’s digital strategy, nurturing a collaborative and innovative environment for the team to strategise for the future.
Empahsising the importance of in-person connection, the team took full advantage of being physically present together in one location. The day was peppered with meaningful conversations, photography, creative sessions, and valuable insights. Together, the team worked passionately to chart the course for QNIS’s digital endeavours.
The organisation was also delighted to celebrate not just one but three significant birthdays. Team members Emma, Sarah, and Alison were surprised with gifts and a beautiful cake baked by Catriona.
The team day at Starbank Park is a testament to QNIS’s continued commitment to strengthening wellbeing, promoting teamwork, and embracing innovation. The event was a true ‘practice what you preach’ embodying our vision by combining strategic planning with imagination and celebration.
